meriko's beauty diary: Palty foam hair dye

Hi there~ It's merigon here today, posting a how to and review on Palty's foam hair dye (:

warning, this is gonna be PIC HEAVY!

Alright, so the colour I chose was called きいちごジャム (Raspberry Jam), and basically when you open the package, this is what you'll find inside. Packaging is super cuteeeee. I'm totally sold xD

Okay, so let's get started! Remember to wear a shirt you don't really want in case the dye gets on it.
So step one, set up like shown in the picture. You can poke a hole in the box to put the cup in (it should be cut out for you already).

Then you take the base water, which is the first bottle to the left. It says to shake it up and down 20 times, and then pour all of it into the cup. Next, you take the cream (one in the tube) and add all of it into the cup as well.

 Then~take the spoon thing and mix it. It says to do it 20-40 times...but I say just mix until all the clumps are gone and the foam fills the cup. Make sure to get everything at the bottom. Like mixing cake mix :D :D

 mix mix mix mix..... okay this is where I stopped - before it started spilling everywhere LOL

 Andddd now you can just grab the foam using your hands or the spoon thing and apply it to your hair like shampoo. Remember to put your gloves on first!

The instructions suggest that you start at your roots, not forgetting the spots behind your ears! Then apply it evenly throughout your hair.

To ensure the dye is spread evenly and applied well, it also suggests that you massage it in softly.

When you're done applying, let it sit for about 20 minutes. If you have really thick hair, leave it for an extra 10 minutes. If you have really thin, short or damaged hair, it suggests that you leave it in for 5 minutes less than normal. My hair looked like this at this point. I left it in for about 30-40 min, yes longer than it suggested, but I really wasn't seeing much change :(

When you're ready, go rinse it out :D

The package also comes with this thing. It's basically a leave-in conditioner that supposedly will help with the colour and decrease the damage. Instructions say to apply it after towel drying your hair.

Theeeen, you can air-dry or blow-dry to see your results.
Mine turned out like this. 

Yes, nothing like the colour shown on the box. To be honest, I was quite disappointed. The original Palty worked quite well on me, so I had some expectations for this Palty too ;__; The colour wasn't bad... but definitely not what I wanted originally. It didn't make a big difference at all. *sighhhh*

The foam was also questionable... once I applied it to my hair, all the foam just sunk in. It wasn't like shampoo at all, I actually found it quite difficult to apply. On the side note, I do think that I was slightly at fault for using only one pack. My hair is quite long, so it may have been a better choice to buy 2 packs to make sure it could cover all my hair. Well, here are some pictures for you to judge.

Not a big difference no? and they are taken in the same lighting.

I guess you could say my hair got browner... but I really wanted that red tone to it. soooo, I would say it was kinda fail OTL. (and its not even as light as it looks on camera..)

I really wanted to have better things to write about this product, since I'm a huge Masuwaka Tsubasa fan....not to mention that the KARA promotions and packaging were all great. But for me, the results just didn't really live up to it. On the bright side, I thought that this stuff smelled amazing compared to other hair dyes. Had a really nice fruity scent, much like the original Palty. I also didn't find it too damaging to my hair, so that was good (:

All in all, I would give this product...

Hi guys~ It's Nyanko here ^^ Today I'll be posting about a super popular virtual boyfriend site: http://web-kare.jp/

I first heard about this from my Dad's worker, and checked it out, out of curiosity. 
The point of this site is to pick a guy out of four potential princes to ultimately make your boyfriend. This boy is chosen in the beginning when you create your account. They all have names, but in this game you are allowed to custom name your man. There are four boys to choose from:

First boy is Ayakawa Ryuji. (Again, you can rename him after). Ryuji is the "rebel" tough boy in this game. He is known to be a school delinquent and tough fighter. So much so that people from other schools know him! Although he seems tough, once you get to know him better, he opens up and you realize how cute he can be. He is an aspiring music artist, who never leaves home without his headphones. He will always care for you, even though he may not show it at times. Can get jealous sometimes but will always be there for you when you need him. His older brother is a teacher at the school. Why do I know so much about him? Because he is the one I picked for myself :) His quote (from the picture) says: "If you weren't here, I wouldn't even attend school". Is that not just the most touching thing? 

Second man is Ayakawa Tsukasa. (teehee reminds me of Domyouji from Hana Yori Dango XD). I'm not too sure about him... but I do know that he is Ryuji's older brother and also a teacher at the school. He teaches language (国語）and is a gentle, nice teacher who's popular with the ladies. He is constantly worried about his trouble making younger brother. He seems like the calm, cool and collected sexy type XD. His quote says: "You're next period class is with me right? You mustn't be late"...eh. To me this is less touching but maybe some teacher-moe people would love this. 

The 3rd boy is Aiba Shun. He is the cutsey-type who also happens to be a basketball player. He's always very happy, bright and is popular with everybody. He's part of the basketball team and while he's superb at sports and anything physical, in terms of academics...he's not so great. He's a bit on the short side, so that is his complex. His dream is to be able to make a dunk shot. Somehow he reminds me of Kikumari Eiji from Prince of Tennis! Perhaps its the mysterious bandage factor. His quote says: "Don't blame me if you fall in love with me after seeing me play Basketball!" I think thats pretty damn cute :) 

Last boy is Souma Kaoru. He is the super academic, megane type. He is the president of school council. His grades are top of the school and during exams his name is always very high. Although he's very serious and strict looking, he also has a cute side to him, which is making cookies. OMG thats too cute! He's all serious and hardworking so its hard to get near him...but then BAM. He likes making cookies and baking. Imagine making cookies with him~ So cute! :) He reminds me of Tezuka from Prince of Tennis hehe. His quote says: "Lately theres been a disturbance..." 

There are other things you can do with webkare as well! You can make a profile at プロフso that other members can check our your profile. ミニログis like a  twitter within the site, where you can update your status and choose who you share each status post to (you can make it only to friends, only to yourself and to everybody). Although I've never tried it, I believe おえかきis a place where you can draw with others. There are many things on this site that I have yet to try. It is important to know that in order to get closer with your boyfriend, you must update your status and click on him daily. 


Keep in mind that this is also a social networking site, so you have the potential to interact with other users (and meet their boyfriends! haha). I hear you can also switch up boyfriends...although I'm not entirely sure how.  Flirt with them? haha 

^thats an example of what you would see with your Kare (boyfriend). So far, according to this my man loves me 63%! This number increases as you interact with him daily. Basically you click on him after updating your status and you're guaranteed to increase your love percentage. Sometimes when you click them, an event or, CG occurs. It's all very cute, and alot of them make you squeal inside ^^. I love getting CGs but unfortunately you can only save 3 at a time unless you pay for more album space. Me being broke always have to delete one to save a new one orz ;__;

Asahi's Reset Body Diet Bar

Well hi there :)!


It's Nyanko posting today~ 
So, people should know that I am on a constant diet, and take much interest in weight loss related things/topics. 
So today I will be posting about... a Diet bar! So, when my mom went back to Japan, she also brought with her some diet snacks that were being sold in Japan. Today I felt like sharing the "Reset Body" diet bar made by Asahi. Now, Asahi is usually known for their beers... so for them to have a diet bar is somewhat a throw-off. But I like to try out new things, so I did and I am glad I did! 

They are basically 2 bars per package, each bar 40 calories. So in that 80 calorie package, this soy-based bar includes fiber, protein and a nice sweet taste to boot! I think thats pretty damn amazing :)! This keeps me away from useless snacking on unnecessary fatty foods, helping me through my diet. 


May I also mention how cute the packaging is?? So portable too! Can just stick it in your purse or something and pull it out when you get the hunger pangs. 

Personally, I think the strawberry flavour is the best. The chocolate one I haven't tried, but my mom says its terrific... butI don't recommend the mixed fruit one! It tastes horrid... but what makes me want to recommend this bar so much is the strawberry flavour. It's like having a bar, protein, strawberry milkshake, and fiber all at once! Almost to the point where you don't even feel like its a diet bar! Just a snack :) I eat this along with my fruits for lunch and altogether those fill me up and satisfy both my hunger and sweettooth. 


This is my attempt at a review, since I only see like one other person reviewing this product on google :) I recommend this bar, and am quite happy with it ^^

And I camwhore with my bar. Yumyumyummm. I'm sorrryyy. Nyanko is a camwhore teehee. :3

^This picture is not meaningless my dears. This has everything to do with Merigon's previous post ^^ I'm not wearing such dramatic lashes, but the ones I wore today were the cross kind. I abandoned them for awhile, and tried them out again today! Not bad not bad! I might start wearing them again ^^ 


Anyway. Thats the end of my blogpost :) Hope I convinced some people to try it? teehee. Sorry so long blogpost Meri. >.< Merigon and I haven't camwhored together lately. We rly need to ^^ <3
