MUJI Almond Jelly! ♥

I'm sure most of you have heard of the Japanese brand Muji?

Muji is mostly popular for their stationary products, like the cheap and great quality pens and pencils I always keep in my pencil case (: But Muji also sells many other products such as clothing, household items, makeup and even snacks! While I was in Tokyo this summer, I picked up a few snack items from Muji - one being the Almond Jelly Mix. Let me share my love for this store with you xD

As you can see, all the instructions on the back are written in Japanese. But no worries! This almond jelly mix is super easy to make! Let me show you (:

So first of all , the ingredients you'll need are :
  • 1 package of Almond Jelly Mix
  • Milk, 250 ml
  • Hot Water, 250 ml
And a big bowl and tool for mixing your ingredients (I just used a big spoon).

For the milk, you're going to have to heat it up, make sure it's HOT. So after measuring the amount, you can use either the microwave or stove (:

Meanwhile, get your 250ml of hot/boiling water...

Pour it into a big bowl or container, then add your mix! It'd be good to do this while mixing, but since I was holding the camera with one hand, I couldn't orz.

The milk should be heated by now, so add that in with the rest of the ingredients, and MIX WELL! The instructions suggest to mix for about 2 minutes.

Well you feel that everything is well-mixed, pour your mix into whatever containers you like....

And throw them into the fridge! LOL
It'll take a few hours for the jelly to harden, so now all there's to do is wait! I usually leave it overnight.

And there you have almond jelly all good to eat! :D
Perfect snack and super easy to make ♥

*make sure you eat these within 2-3 days though!*

..who likes my SHOUNEN JUMP CUP?! ehhehehe..

So if you get the chance, don't forget to check out the snack section next time you visit a MUJI store! Lots and lots of yummies there :D

Sweetly Seabreeze

Haiya Nyanko here! :) I know, haven't blogged in forever >< forgive me :3

Anyway! Today I'm going to be doing a little love-post about...*dundundun* Seabreeze! Seabreeze is a deodorant-like liquid that is used by many to stay fresh ! :) A liquid deodorant water, per say. It feels extremely good on the skin and helps keep you...well un-gross! :)  When I was in Japan,  I asked my friend about popular products in terms of with high-school, middle-school students and she told me "Seabreeze! Everyone has it. It's like a must-have item!" And so, I went off on a hunt to find one.

Here's a pic of the product before I opened it. You can tell it's unopened cause of the seal at the top :) I bought the peach cooler flavour by the way!

So, even though you guys don't need an entire tut on how to use deodorant (LOL) I'm gonna put up some pics anyway of the..."process" (I'm so damn lame lol)

^ok Guys. Here is my seabreeze. Still spiffy, unopened and nice. Just showing it off, obviously.

^Then I shake it. Because before you use sea breeze, you must shake the product for the little deodorant particles to mix...or something. The powder bits, if you will XD

^Finally took off the seal! and it's open, ready for a test :) Let's see how this baby looks.
^ok ignore my messy floor please! :) I put the product out on my hand.

^It's a bit hard to see, but if you look you can see the white watery liquid in the palm of my hand. It's very watery, not creamy and seems very fresh (not sticky).

^Ok! So I just tested the product on my neck area....

^And voila! I feel all fresh and un-custy! I feel refreshed and everything!

Overall I think this product is good and I see why it's such a hit in Japan. During sweaty times or extremely hot weathers, this is a perfect way to freshen up, without constant showers. (I'm not saying don't shower T_T I'm saying like, no need to shower 15 times a day).

Seabreeze comes at about 600yen (rounded up) which is about $6.00~$7.00 Canadian dollars. I think it's a pretty decent price.

FOR GIRLS: There is a way to become a hit with all the boys in high school using the power of owning seabreeze. I read this in a magazine, but apparently one way to attract men....is always carrying a spare seabreeze that you can lend to sexy boys who forgot their own at home. Then when they are in trouble and like "oh geez man, I forgot my Sea breeze at home..." or "Oh no I ran out of sea breeze MAJIDE" you can tap them on the shoulder, and offer them your extra bottle. Apparently it makes men think "oh...she's cute. and So prepared, I'm into that...mmmmm *licks lips*".

ok! So, without further ado, I will post some camwhore pics I took with this beautiful product that comes in many colours/flavours.

Thanks for reading! :) Every view matters and every comment Merigon and I celebrate <3

meriko's beauty diary: Dolly Wink Eyeshadow #3

Hey everyone! (:

It's merigon again~ Today I'll be doing a short post on the dolly wink eyeshadow palette I purchased recently during my trip to Tokyo this summer ;)

Dollywink products have been pretty popular recently, and being the Tsu-chan fan that I am, I had to try out one of these palettes xD. I also purchased the no.1 palette, but I though I'd make a post on this one instead - cause I just loved the bright eye-catching colours!  I rarely apply so much colour on my lids, but I think this look turned out really nice. Such a great look for days when you just wanna have fun and stand out from the crowd!

The only issue I had with these shadows were that they weren't too solid. As you can see from the swatches, the colours can be kinda hard to see - so if you want them to be really opaque, you're gonna need to apply a few layers. Other than that, I liked this quite a lot. The texture was nice, and it lasted pretty much all day (:

I tried to replicate Tsubasa's look (:
Not perfect though - since I don't have the same eye shape nor the dollywink lashes ;(

Additional pics (;

wth my bangs >.>

All in all, I love this palette and I'd recommend trying it out if you like refreshing bright colours! (:

meriko's wardrobe: outfit post #1!

heeyy guyssss!

So sorry I havn't posted for a while...was traveling a lot during the summer. But now that I'm back and getting ready for school, we should be posting more ;)

Today, I'm gonna make a post on the outfits I've been wearing lately (:
I'll try to keep this up on a weekly basis :D This post is still somewhat summery but I guess starting next week I'll be more transitioning from summer to fall. And yes, I'm in love with the dusty pink colour xD I'm sorry I wear it all the time orz, and sorry for the awkward posing. Still getting used to this..anddd, sorry you can't see the shoes in these pics. I'm actually a huge shoes addict so I'd love to show my collection but I'm still trying to find a way to get the shoes to fit in the pic >__< Hopefully, I'll figure it out soon! Well that's it, enjoy :P

Comments and constructive criticism would be much appreciated

meriko randoms: Oshiri Kajiri Mushi

Hey there~ (:
Sorry about the lack of posts, been a bit busy lately. But today, Merigon is here to present you with.... OSHIRI KAJIRI MUSHI!

Oshiri Kajiri Mushi basically means "butt-biting bug"xDD
A couple years ago, this song/video became immensely popular in Japan. It even made it to the top of the Oricon (music) charts as I remember. It's basically this bug singing about his day biting butts....wtf, I know. But it's quite amusing, I promise you ;)

Well, I'll leave you to see for yourself :D. There's even subtitles in this vid, so you guys can follow along with the interesting lyrics :P

I personally think it's quite cute...not to mention super catchy.
What do you guys think? leave a comment! (:

Vita Felice Bags :)

Hey guys, Nyanko here from Tokyo Japan! :) Just woke up its like 5:30 am over here. I tried to stay asleep but couldn't so I decided to blog. I decided to blog about the beauty things I encounter in Japan on this blog (since our blog is a beauty blog). Today I will be blogging about two bags I bought online. The store is called VitaFelice http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/vitafelice/ . I have to say I am quite impressed with the bags! :) Here are some pics comparing how they look on the site and real life:
Bag #1 on site:

http://item.rakuten.co.jp/vitafelice/vp-5003ol/

and here is how it looks like in reality:

Here is bag #2 :)! http://item.rakuten.co.jp/vitafelice/190097/

I got bag #2 in brown :) heres the pic:

I myself was very impressed with the pink bag. I am in love with it! So...I will be using the brown bag here in Japan LOL.
The material is sturdy and well..cute! Also while I'm at it, let me tell you guys: I am in love with ribbons! I love ribbons on everything! Ribbons on my bags, ribbons on my clothes, ribbons on my shoes! Ribbon whore wtf.
I might update about quality if it breaks or anything during my stay LOL but so far, I do recommend these two bags XD. They are $20 Canadian each! it's a good investment! :) I am happy.
Meriko did this in a post before, so Ill do it here. I give this... a 4/5 stars. Not perfect just because it looks a little better on the site, but overall I still am in love with both bags because they are just so cute! :)
Sorry I'm laching some pics, but heres a few more of me holding the bag :)
